Northwest OKC apartment fire under control

OKLAHOMA CITY – Fire crews have knocked down a two-alarm fire in northwest Oklahoma City Wednesday afternoon.

Bob Moore Chopper 4 was over the scene near N.W. 40th St. and Meridian at the Mount Vernon apartments.

A dry hydrant hindered the firefighters’ efforts.

Officials are investigating and said the fire may have started in the basement.

So serious injuries were reported.
