OKLAHOMA CITY – In southwest Oklahoma City, a smoky haze hung over the skies Wednesday night.

We had viewers calling about it, wondering what it was.

We launched Bob Moore Chopper 4 and quickly found the source coming from the Oklahoma City landfill.

The dump is just south of I-40 between Rockwell and Council.

Fire crews ask the workers at the landfill to help them put out the fire by using heavy equipment already at the landfill.

The smoke was blowing into Bethany but there were reports of it traveling all the way to N.W. 39th St. and Council.
