OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City Barons closed out the 2012-13 regular season with a 3-0 win over the Houston Aeros on Sunday afternoon at the Cox Convention Center. Chris Vandevelde scored twice in the Barons win, which came a day after the team clinched a playoff spot.

OKC will begin the American Hockey League playoffs on Friday night when they host the Charlotte Checkers in the first of a best-of-five series. Game 2 will be at the Cox Center on Saturday night before the series shifts to Charlotte for Games 3 through 5, if necessary.
