Barons fall in overtime in playoff opener

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City Barons lost in overtime in their post-season opener on Friday night at the Cox Convention Center. Charlotte’s Brody Sutter scored early in the OT to lead the Checkers to a 4-3 win over the Barons in Game 1 of their best-of-five first round American Hockey League playoff series.

The Barons will host Charlotte on Saturday night in Game 2, before the series shifts to Charlotte. Faceoff Saturday night is 7:00 at the Cox Center.
