CLEVELAND COUNTY—There is reports of a tornado touching down in north Norman, along the eastern sides of I-35.

Authorities say Highway 9 is gridlocked with cars attempting to flee the storm.

Currently, power is out to parts of the city making the storm very difficult to see.

Also, officials are watching a circulation along the Pottawatomie County line near Shawnee.

That circulation is the lead storm that created tornadoes in Canadian and Oklahoma counties.

Meteorologists encourage those in the Twin Lakes area, Dale, Stella, east of Draper Lake, Shawnee and Tecumseh to be aware.
