EL RENO, OK -- Governor Fallin spent Sunday morning surveying damage in Canadian County. Fallin met with first responders and victims before meeting briefly with the media.

"It’s been hard to handle this magnitude of disasters throughout the state," Governor Fallin says.

After taking in the damage, the crumbled pieces of what used to be homes and the Canadian Valley Career Tech Center, Governor Fallin promised help to those affected and promised Oklahomans will rebuild again.

“We will recover. We have just seen people spring to action just like they did a couple weeks ago in Moore; neighbors helping neighbors," The Governor says. "Once again we've seen that resilient Oklahoma strong spirit rise up again."

Officials say after last week's round of severe weather, at least eight more counties should qualify for help from FEMA.
