MOORE, OK -- Many times its storm chasers who are the first witnesses to the damage left behind by tornadoes. That was the case on May 20th, after that EF5 tore through Moore.

This weekend a group of chasers returned to Moore to help the town rebuild.

More than $15,000 was donated by a group of storm chasers called "Storm Assist" who help communities hit hard by tornadoes.

The funds were donated to the Moore Public Schools Foundation and will be used to help rebuild the more than 22 schools that were damaged.
