OKLAHOMA CITY - Police are searching for a killer after finding a man's body in a wooded area on the northeast side of Oklahoma City Tuesday.

The family said 22-year-old Prentice Williams is the victim.

A cousin found the body in a field near N.E. 16th St. and Kelham just before 4:30 p.m. and called police.

Williams's mother reported him missing just hours earlier.

She said she had not seen him since Friday.

"He has a mother, he has sisters, he has nieces and nephews," Charisma Whitfield said. "This is not right. Family should not have to go through this."

Investigators looked for any clue as to whether Williams was shot there or if someone dumped his body between the trees.

They said he was shot several days ago.

Officers worked get a search warrant for an abandoned home in the area because they said they found bullet holes in the wall.

With so many questions unanswered, the family wants the killer to come forward.

"We're going to find you," Quicney Zeigler said. "They're going to find you. They're going to get you."

"We need to know. We need justice and we need to know now," Whitfield said.
