Country legends team up for tornado relief concert

NORMAN, Okla.– A few country legends are coming together to entertain fans while supporting victims of the recent tornadoes.

In another effort to give back to the community, stars like Toby Keith, Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Trisha Yearwood and Ronnie Dunn are teaming up for the “Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert.”

The artists will take the stage on Saturday, July 6 inside the Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.

Performances begin at 3 p.m. with gates opening at 1:30 p.m.

Tickets are $25 each and will go on sale to the public on Friday, June 21 at 10 a.m.

Organizers say there is an eight ticket limit per customer.

All proceeds from the concert go to the United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornado Relief Fund.
