EL RENO, Okla.– After helping families affected by the May 20 tornado, a service center was then in the eye of another storm headed straight for their facility in El Reno.

Youth & Family Services workers grabbed nine children who at the center at the time of the May 31 storm and immediately took shelter.

Fortunately, everyone was safe but the building suffered a bit of damage.

Once the storm passed, staff members were able to get the kids to another shelter before the morning.

Organizers say the damage was not as bad as a lot of locations but still needed some work before families could come back.

After making a few repairs, Youth & Family Services announced that it was able to reopen its doors this week.
