“Red, White & Boom” offers free entertainment, support for victims

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.– In just a few weeks, Americans across the country will honor those who fought for our freedom.

The Oklahoma City Philharmonic is using the Fourth of July holiday to honor heroes with a free concert.

The philharmonic is presenting “Red, White and Boom” on Wednesday, July 3 at 8:30 p.m. at the State Fair Park Entertainment Plaza.

In addition to the instruments, vocalist Kristy Cates, best known for her role in Wicked, will be joining the performance.
Following the concert, guests will be treated to a fireworks display at 10 p.m.
Visitors are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair since seating will be on the asphalt.Concert-goers will also be invited to support their fellow Oklahomans by supporting the United Way’s OK Strong Disaster Relief Fund.
