STILLWATER, Okla. – Former OSU quarterback Wes Lunt announced he will transfer to the University of Illinois.

Lunt said he’s always dreamed of playing for his state school.

He’ll join an Illinios program coached by former OSU defensive coordinator Tim Beckman.

Lunt said he has no hard feelings towards OSU head coach Mike Gundy, who limited Lunt’s transfer options after he decided to leave OSU.

Lunt will have to sit out a year as a transfer before he’s eligible to play.
