Former OU football player De'Mond Parker

TULSA, Okla. – A former OU football player was arrested Wednesday night, accused of trafficking crack cocaine.

Tulsa law enforcement officials said they stopped a car De’Mond Parker was riding in and officers said they saw Parker stashing items under his seat.

Officers said they found marijuana while searching Parker.

Authorities searched the car and said they found 28 grams of crack cocaine under the seat.

He was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of drug trafficking and possession of marijuana.

Parker, a Tulsa native,  played at OU from 1996 to 1998 and was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 1999 for the start of his limited professional career.

He later joined the Detroit Lions but did not play.
