Officials said more than 22,000 pounds of ground beef could be contaminated with E. coli.

A recall spanning 13 states, including Oklahoma, is in effect for ground beef packaged by the National Beef Packing Company of Liberal, Kansas.

The packages of recalled National Beef have packing codes 0481, 0421 and 0484 with a sell-by date of June 14, 2013.

No cases of illness have been reported yet.
