Former Cowboy in contention on tour

NEWBURGH, IN — Former OSU golfer Kevin Tway is contending at the Tour’s United Leasing Championship in Newburgh, Indiana.

Tway shot a second round 72 and stands at 5-under par after two rounds, just two shots off the lead.

Tway’s highlight shot of the day came on #15, as he nearly holed out for eagle from about 85 yards.

Another golfer with Oklahoma ties, former Sooner Hunter Haas, is at 4-under par, and is just three shots behind the leader.
