UPDATE: The mother who did not step in during this fight is now facing charges.

BINGER, Okla. - A fight between two 15-year-old girls has the attention of Binger police.

Someone posted a video of the fight on Facebook.

Police say no one stepped in to stop the beating, not even the mother of one of the teenagers.

Investigators say you can hear the voice of one of the teen's mothers encouraging the fight while another family member taped it.

The victim's mother, Cari Irvin, can't bring herself to watch the video.

"It's my daughter being hurt, not only by another child, but an adult in the background," Irvin said. "And that's scary to me. Who would do that to a child?"

On the tape, her daughter, Whitney, tried to protect herself by hiding her face for nearly two minutes.

It happened in front of the Post Office and a restaurant, but no one stepped in to stop it.

"I understand they're just children," Irvin said, "It's the adults that didn't step in and do anything."

The video ended up on Facebook and outraged many in the small town like Jewell Beasley.

Beasley's grandchildren go to school with the girls.

"The mom shouldn't have been egging it on," Beasley said. "And after she slapped her and knocked her down, the mom should have been out of the car jerking her up and saying, 'No, we're not going to do this.'"

The mother of the teen who punched the other girl claims police told her not to talk about the incident.

"I don't think the little girl would have done it without the mother in the background," Irvin said.

Binger police said the juvenile could face charges as well as her mother.

Investigators are meeting with the District Attorney to find out what charges, if any, will be filed.
