Oklahomans to remember TV legend Bill Thrash

OKLAHOMA CITY- The public will have a chance to honor the memory of Oklahoma television legend Bill Thrash.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hahn Cook Chapel, located just north of N.W. 63rd St. on the Broadway Extension.

Thrash was a true pioneer in Oklahoma television, working at NewsChannel 4 when it was WKY-TV.

He was also the station manager for OETA.

Thrash was buried on Friday in his hometown of Ada.

He was 73-years-old.
