OKLAHOMA CITY – Two people are in the hospital after an attempted robbery early Tuesday morning.

Authorities said two men wearing ski masks tried to rob the Snug Lounge when it was closing.

Police said both suspects were armed with shotguns.

According to authorities, the men demanded money from the bar.

The suspects became impatient and forced everyone into the back room.

One of the bar patrons refused the suspects’ demands and a fight ensued.

The scuffle moved outside and somehow the two suspects escaped in a white SUV.

A couple of other patrons ran out to help and were hit by the suspects’ SUV.

They are recovering with minor injuries.

Witnesses said the two suspects sped eastbound on 23rd St.

Authorities do not have a detailed description of the suspects at this time.
