OKLAHOMA CITY - A metro family's RV has been stolen from a storage facility. Its been a few weeks but they desperately want it back.

Doug Politt is at his wit's end.

It was stolen from a storage facility and it couldn't have come at a more inconvenient time.

In the past few months they had to get a new roof after the tornado, two of their vehicles were damaged during the hail storm and they're still mourning the recent deaths of two family pets.

"It's very frustrating," Politt said. "We worked a long time to afford that after camping in tents for many years."

Those plans to camp with the kids this weekend before the school bell rings are a gone.

Surveillance cameras capture the crook cutting locks and chopping chains.

"They cut the locks on my trailer and also on several storage units, backed up, hooked up and pulled away," Politt said.

With the $25,000 camper in tow, the thief leaves but only for 32 minutes.

Politt said, "He saw something else intriguing and stole a $40 power washer."

Anyone with information is asked to call Oklahoma City Police.

The owners of Able Boat and RV Storage are offering a $5,000 reward.
