UPDATE: OKC Middle School Lock-down Lifted

5:00pm UPDATE: The lock-down at Webster Middle school in Oklahoma City has been lifted according to the Oklahoma city Public School Administration. Children are being allowed to walk home in groups.

UPDATE: Webster Middle School is on lock-down according to the Oklahoma City Public School administration.

Here is a statement from OKCPS Media Services Director, Tierney Tinnin

“We are holding students and they will not be released to walk home or ride the bus until we receive clearance from the OKCPD.┬áParents can pick up their students at the school but must show ID.”

OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities are searching for suspects in a possible home invasion in southeast Oklahoma City Wednesday evening.

Police said armed suspects broke into a home near S.W. 71st St. and Byers and may have gotten away with some electronics.

At least one person was home at the time of the incident; they were not injured.

Officials are looking for the suspects near Webster Middle School in southeast Oklahoma City. Webster Middle School is on lockdown right now and parents are required to show ID to remove their kids from the school.
