OKLAHOMA CITY - Police have three people in custody after an overnight armed robbery Wednesday morning.

Authorities said they were called to an armed robbery at the Aspen Apartments on Western Ave. and Britton Rd. at about 2 a.m.

Officials said the victims gave them descriptions of those accused in the robbery and they were able to track down the suspect's red Pontiac Sunfire.

Police said Air One was called in to help and found the persons of interest about three blocks away near N.W. 91st St. and Hudson.

"Officers then began canvassing the area for the suspect vehicle. Officers were able to locate suspect vehicle and ultimately arrested a suspect out of the vehicle," OKC Police Lt. Wegner said.

Only one of those in custody is facing armed robbery charges, the other two are being held for questioning.
