Iraq veteran turns tables on armed robber

MARIONVILLE, Mo.- An Iraq war veteran turned the tables on a would-be thief at a liquor store in Missouri.

John Alexander was behind the counter working when a man walked in and pulled a gun.

He sprung into action, forcing the man’s arm down by his side and drawing his own weapon.

Fortunately, no shots were fired and no one was injured in the encounter.

The action was caught on Max and Jeannine Dawson’s, the store owners, surveillance system.

Police were looking for the man who quickly ran from the store.
