Tulsa officer arrested, accused of engaging in prostitution

TULSA, Okla. – An Oklahoma officer has found himself on the wrong side of the law after being arrested, accused of engaging in prostitution.

Tulsa police officials said 52-year-old David Turner gave a female undercover officer $40 for sex during a sting operation.

He is now facing charges of engaging in prostitution and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

The 17-year veteran has been placed on administrative leave with pay while the case is under investigation.
