EDMOND, Okla. -- Tonight we are once rewarding a deserving Oklahoman for Paying it 4ward.

We're honoring a young woman who spends hours at a local Christian based organization and anywhere else she can to give love and encouragement to those who need it most.

There is a special kind of pay it 4ward going on inside a building in Edmond.

Lauren Lane is a part of ‘Wings.’ Their website says ‘Wings’ is designed to enhance the lives of adults with functional disabilities who cannot live comfortably 'on their own' in society.

Providing life-long services in a warm, creative environment, carefully balanced between independence and assistance.

In simple terms people like Lauren who have a passion for this kind of service.

Lauren Lane is also a college student studying special needs education and volunteers throughout the community for projects involving special needs adults. That’s why the executive director nominated Lauren.

Lauren was leading a discussion session when we surprised her; to the delight of the group.

That love is returned in hugs all around for this outstanding and devoted helper who knows the true meaning of Paying it 4ward.

If you know of someone who should be nominated for our Pay it 4ward program, we want to hear from you. You can nominate someone here.
