Want to pack a yummy lunch for your children they will love for the taste and you will love for the nutrition?

Today Show health experts have a few suggestions that will make packing your child’s lunch box a bit easier and healthier.

Whole grain granola bars

The first easy snack to toss in a lunch sack is a granola bar.

Many stores carry bars made with whole grains and some are even gluten-free.

They can be sprinkled with other healthful yet tasty ingredients like pumpkin seeds and peanut butter.

Greek yogurt

It contains more protein than regular yogurt.

Plus some companies now make an organic product that doesn’t need to be refrigerated until after it is opened, which makes it perfect for a lunch pail.

Nut-free butter

With so many children having nut allergies today, manufacturers have started churning out a “no-nut butter.”

It’s safe for those with severe allergies and others in the school cafeteria.

Organic juice boxes

These aren’t your mother’s juice boxes. They are now made with organic ingredients and no artificial sugars or preservatives. The thirst quenchers are the perfect size for little hands and lunch boxes.
