UPDATE: OHP identifies suspect, patrolman in Tulsa trooper-involved shooting

TULSA, Okla. – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has identified the Tulsa man killed in a trooper-involved shooting over the weekend.

Officials said 33-year-old Tel Levi Rogers of Claremore died after being shot Saturday night in Tulsa.

OHP officials said the trooper involved is 28-year-old Bobby Raines from Sapulpa.

Raines has been a state trooper for about a year and a half.

Authorities said he has been placed on routine paid administrative leave during the internal investigation.
