Lake Carolyn, Texas -- The only Oklahoma crew invited to the Dallas, TX Flugtag event on September 21 built a home-made glider in a Perry garage.

They were a 'Great State' feature story earlier in the month.

It flew, perhaps, too well.

Their glider caught a sharp gust of head wind and went straight up with pilot Garret Ebersole hanging on for dear life.

The results were spectacular and a little scary too. Fortunately, Garrett and his team escaped without serious injury.
