Dallas Stars, Oilers meeting in NHL Showcase in OKC Friday night

OKLAHOMA CITY - The National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers are in Oklahoma City and preparing for their preseason game versus the Dallas Stars.

The two NHL squad's are participating in the NHL Showcase.  The puck drops at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 27 from inside the Cox Convention Center.

The Oilers are the parent team of the Oklahoma City Barons, of the American Hockey League.

Edmonton will have several former Barons skating for them Friday including: Mark Arcobello, Jordan Eberle, Taylor Hall and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.

Oilers Head Coach, Dallas Eakins knows how important the Barons are to the Oilers organization.
