Norman police are following leads after more than 20 reports of thefts from vehicles over 5 days.

The thefts happened between 48th and 36th Avenue Northwest  and border West Robinson and West Main Street.

Neighbors in one of the targeted areas say they are worried about the thefts because they could escalate to breaking into their homes. One victim put up this “Alert” sign to alert neighbors.

Captain Tom Easley says you should never leave valuables in your car, and you should always lock your car or out it in the garage.
