After a couple of quiet weeks, former Sooner Adrian Peterson had a big day on Sunday.

AD rushed for 140 yards on 23 carries and scored two touchdowns on runs of 60 and 7 yards as Minnesota got their first win of the season,
beating Pittsburgh 34-27 at Wembley Stadium in London.

The Vikings clinched the win when former OSU defensive lineman Kevin Williams recovered a fumble by Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in the final minute.

In San Diego, the Dallas Cowboys lost to the Chargers 30-21, but former OSU receiver Dez Bryant had his best game of the season so far for the Cowboys.

Bryant had six catches for 81 yards and two touchdowns, one from six yards out and the other a 35-yarder.

Former OU running back DeMarco Murray rushed for 70 yards on 14 carries for Dallas.

Detroit beat Chicago 40-32, and former OSU tight end Brandon Pettigrew had seven catches for 54 yards for the Lions.

Denver blew out Philadelphia 52-20, and former Heritage Hall star Wes Welker caught two touchdown passes and had seven catches for 76 yards.

Arizona won 13-10 at Tampa Bay, but former OU defensive tackle Gerald McCoy recovered a fumble for the Buccaneers.
