Edmond residents get shaken by an overnight earthquake

EDMOND, OK- According to the United States Geological Survey, a 2.7 magnitude earthquake shakes the residents of Edmond around 3.18 a.m. Tuesday.

The earthquake’s epicenter was approximately four miles east of Edmond, 12 miles north of Choctaw, 13 miles north of Midwest City.

Oklahoma’s earthquake activity has heightened in recent weeks with most quakes striking the same regions.

There was no reported damage or injuries caused by the quake.
