Man accused of murdering beloved convenience store clerk back in court

OKLAHOMA CITY – The man accused of murdering a beloved convenience store clerk is due back in court Monday.

A preliminary hearing for 33-year-old Darrien Clark is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

He was denied bond during his arraignment last month.

Clack is charged with first-degree murder and robbery.

Police said he shot and killed Habib Hajimirzaei inside a convenience store at N.W. 63rd St. and Broadway back in July. store clerk

Clark is also accused in a separate shooting and robbery from August when he was arrested.

He has pleaded not guilty to charges related to the store clerk murder.
