Police: Cross dressing suspect strikes another Norman bank

NORMAN, Okla. – The FBI, announced the robbery of the Republic Bank and Trust at 1200 E. Lindsey Street in Norman.

No one was injured in today’s robbery.

At approximately 6:55 pm this evening, a male dressed in women’s clothing entered the Republic Bank and Trust branch.

The male approached a teller and presented a note which indicated that he had a gun and which demanded money. No firearm was observed.

The teller complied with the demand and provided the robber an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber left the bank on foot.

This robber is believed to be responsible for the robbery of Arvest Bank in Norman on September 27, 2013.

The subject is described as a white male, 6′ to 6’1”, 180-190 lbs., with a thin, muscular build, wearing a blond wig and a black shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at (405)290-7770 (24 hour number).

Callers can remain anonymous. The Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of individuals responsible for robbing a member bank.
