Suspect arrested for threatening DHS worker

CHICKASHA, Okla.- Thursday, October 10 around noon, Chickasha police were made aware of a threat against an Oklahoma DHS worker by 28-year-old Christopher Don Rodgers.

Authorities alerted DHS and surrounding law enforcement agencies with the information on Rodgers and a vehicle description.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. Oklahoma city police located the vehicle being driven by Rodgers and notified Chichasha police.

A search of the vehicle resulted in a long gun being discovered.

The suspect was taking into custody on the charge of Endeavoring to Commit an Act of Violence.

He is being held in Grady County Detention Center until he is arraigned in District Court.
