OKLAHOMA CITY – A 16-year-old boy is recovering after a run in with authorities that involved him performing “Satanic rituals” in the woods, attacking a security guard, asking an officer to shoot him and then asking medical officials to cut his throat.

Police said the teen emerged from a wooded area near apartments on the 7500 block of Lyrewood Ln. Sunday night.

According to officers, the teen attacked a security guard and the guard sprayed him with pepper spray.

Officers said the teen told them he had heard about Satanic rituals in the woods and he found a Pentagram in the wooded area.

The police report states the teen told them he was in the woods “praying for police, fire, EMSA and all of their families.”

Officers said the teen asked them to shoot him in the face.

Police said the boy admitted he had been drinking but said he had not taken any drugs.

He was arrested for assault and battery and taken to the hospital.

While he was in the hospital, officials said he became “aggressive” with the staff and kept asking them to cut his throat or shoot him.

Authorities secured him to the hospital bed so he couldn’t hurt himself or anyone else.

Police said the teen continued to yell about how he shouldn’t have been interrupted during the rituals in the forest and told officers they were agents of the Devil.

Health officials said they gave him medication which calmed him.

He was booked into a juvenile center after being released from the hospital.

Officials have not released the teen’s identity.
