EDMOND, Okla. -- Richard Anthony, a former UCO Police officer says he was fired last month after a pursuit that took place near the campus of University of Central Oklahoma.

He was joined in the chase by his partner who he says received no sort of punishment for her involvement.

Losing his employment has not only affected him, through the loss of insurance it also has affected his two and a half year old boy who has "Auditory Neuropathy" and requires special treatment.

Anthony hopes the department realizes they made a mistake and will take him back.

UCO says they have no comment because this is a personnel matter and it is still under investigation.
