OKC Arts Councils gets grant to expand after school programs
OKLAHOMA CITY – The Arts Council of Oklahoma City has started expanding its after school arts program after receiving a grant from the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
The IFund grant will help the council reach seven more under-served schools.
Currently they are providing programs for schools including Oklahoma City Public Schools, the YMCA and the Boys and Girls Club, according to the Arts Council of Oklahoma City’s website.
Arts After School is taught by artists two days a week after school to help students expand their artistic ability. The program is free to participants.
