Showers possible this afternoon, could reach 70s, 80s for weekend

A weak storm system will track over the state this afternoon and tonight bringing a few showers.

Most areas will stay dry with just increasing cloud cover.

A strong south wind will give an added chill.

A warm front will lift north over the weekend warming temps to the 70s!

A few showers are possible Saturday morning, mainly in central and eastern Oklahoma.

Sunday will be the warmest with a few 80-degree temperatures possible in the state.

The warm up will be short-lived as another powerful front moves through late Sunday resulting in a 20 degree temperature drop for Monday.
