NORMAN, Okla. - The Norman Police Department offers free self-defense classes, “My Body, My Life."

Freedom 43 TV's Ashley Kringen stopped in one of the classes to learn about the "No No Square."

The program is focused on empowering women through awareness, education, violence prevention and self-defense techniques.

The next class is on Saturday, Nov. 23 at the Norman Regional Hospital Education Facility, 901 N. Porter.

The class will run from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The class is available to the first 25 women, on a first-come, first-served basis.
