Residents can enjoy winter temperatures with opening of Edmond ice skating rink

EDMOND, Okla. – Fans of the winter weather will be able to enjoy a holiday favorite.

The outdoor ice skating rink in downtown Edmond will open for the first time this season on Thursday.

The rink, which is touted as one of the largest rinks in the area, will be open everyday through Jan. 5.

The ice rink is open from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. each day with special hours on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Admission is $10 per person but you can save $2 if you bring a non-perishable food item or toy for a donation drive.

The rink is located at the Festival Market Place, near Edmond Rd. and Broadway.
