Cowgirls Cruise Past USC

Oklahoma State’s women’s basketball team got a pair of double-doubles from Kendra Suttles and Brittney Martin and outscored USC by 18 points off turnovers to blow out the Women of Troy 82-51 on Friday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater.

Brittney Martin had 22 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists, while Kendra Suttles had 10 points and 11 rebounds in the win.

OSU jumped to a 20-point lead by halftime, and built the margin to 34 at one point in the second half.

The Cowgirls outscored USC 26-8 off turnovers and shot 52 percent from the field for the game, while holding USC to just 33 percent.

Two other Cowgirls were in double figure scoring, with Liz Donohoe adding 15 and Tiffany Bias 14.

Oklahoma State improves to 5-0 on the season, and will host UMass-Lowell on Tuesday night in Stillwater.
