In an early shoot out at Kansas State the OU offense made the plays to keep their team in the game and eventually pick up a 41-31 win.

Brennan Clay rushed for a career high 200 yards and two touchdowns.

Clay's performance was especially important since fellow running back Damien Williams was suspended for the Kansas State game.

Trevor Knight made his first road start and guided the Sooners to 301 rushing yards.

Knight threw for a touchdown and ran for one as well.
