Bad break up leads to woman allegedly attacking another with nun-chucks after bar fight

OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City woman is behind bars accused of attacking another woman with nun-chucks.

Official said they arrested 47-year-old Lisa Arlene Ward Sunday after she allegedly attacked another woman with the weapon.

According to the police report, the victim and witnesses said Ward showed up at a home on the 3400 block of N.W. 66th St. swinging nun-chucks after she and her girlfriend got into a fight at a bar Ward owns, Pugsley’s Pub, earlier.

Officers said Ward hit another woman at the home in the head.

After that, police said the woman and a witness wrestled Ward to the ground and held her there until officers arrived.

The woman injured is expected to be OK, she refused medical treatment.

Officers said they found marijuana and drug paraphernalia on Ward when she was arrested.

She also had a warrant for failure to appear in Cleveland County.

They said Ward told them she and her girlfriend recently broken up.

Ward is now facing assault and drug charges.
