OKLAHOMA CITY – While many Oklahomans are staying off the roads, EMSA paramedics say they have still been busy because of the winter weather.

Since 12 a.m. Friday, medics responded to seven car accidents on local roads.

Oklahomans who decided not to go on the roads still had a bit of trouble with the ice and snow.

Authorities also rushed to help four people who had fallen on the ice and one person suffering from hypothermia.

Experts say conditions are still treacherous so caution is urged.
