UKRAINE - Anti-government protesters toppled the statue of Bolshvik leader Vladimir Lenin in central Kiev today.

A group of protesters decapitated the landmark statue while attacking it with hammers.

Protesters took turns beating on the torso of the fallen statue, as other chanted "glory to Ukraine.
