Bitter cold tonight, Winter Weather Advisory affects north central Oklahoma

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for north central Oklahoma until midnight.

A reinforcing cold shot of air is moving through the Sooner state.

Snow is now in northwestern Oklahoma and will continue to spread east through this evening.

Northern Oklahoma could see a half an inch to two inches of accumulations through tomorrow morning.

Little to no accumulations are expected in central Oklahoma.

Temperatures will finally warm above freezing by mid-week and our next storm system will bring a chance for freezing rain and rain on Friday followed by a wintry mix Friday night/Saturday morning.
