Norman police searching for accused armed hotel robber

NORMAN, Okla. – Police are searching for the suspect in an early morning armed robbery Friday.

Officials said a man walked into the Comfort Inn and Suites near I-35 and W. Robinson St. at about 1 a.m., pulled out a gun and demanded money.

Witnesses said he took off with an unknown amount of cash.

No one was seriously injured.

Norman officers said the suspect is a 5-foot-6, African American man in his 20s, weighing about 170 pounds.

Police said he was wearing a white hoodie, dark pants and a beanie.
