Beautiful weather this week; snow possible next weekend

Beautiful weather continues through Thursday with sunshine and highs in the 60s!  Temperatures will average 15-20 degrees above normal, so enjoy it!

An arctic front will blast through our state on Friday bringing a big change in the weather.

Temperatures will drop by nearly 40 degrees with highs in the 30s and wind chills in the teens and 20s.

Moisture moves in over the weekend.

As of right now, rain will transition to a wintry mix on Saturday and snow is expected Sunday morning.

Weather computer models are not in complete agreement so please stay tuned for updates on the nitty-gritty of this storm system.

Looking at the longer range forecasts, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day look to be cool and dry.
