Silver Alert Canceled: Missing Bethel Acres man found safe

UPDATE – The Silver Alert has been canceled for a reported missing in Bethel Acres.

Official said 66-year-old Hollis Stephenson has been found Tuesday morning.

Authorities have not released any other information about the incident.

BETHEL ACRES, Okla. – Sheriff’s deputies in Pottawatomie County are searching for a 66-year-old man who was last seen Monday morning when he was headed to a nearby hospital.

Officials have issued a silver alert for 66-year-old Hollis Stephenson.

He was last seen in the 16300 block of Fishmarket Rd. in Bethel Acres around 11 a.m. Monday.

Officials say he went to pick up his wife from a Shawnee hospital but has not been seen or heard from since then.

Authorities say Stephenson may be driving a blue 2012 Dodge sedan with a Purple Heart tag.

He stands at 5’11” tall, weighs 195 pounds, has gray hair and a gray beard.

Family members say he usually wears a cowboy hat and has military tattoos.

He also has the name “Kathy” tattooed on one arm.

Deputies say he has dementia, is diabetic, PTSD, suffers from kidney problems and is on oxygen.
