OKLAHOMA CITY - A viewer named Kelli Booher sent NewsChannel4 video of huge pieces of ice falling from the roof of the Outlet Mall.

Shoppers took cover under awnings watching as the large sheets of ice as it came crashing to the ground.

Justin Burgess an outlet mall shopper from Tulsa says his family has been battling the weather for weeks now as they have been trying to get their Christmas shopping done in Oklahoma city.

He says he understands why people come out in conditions like we've seen the past few days.

"Christmas time you gotta get your shopping in,
guess people don’t play around these days."

Another shopper that agrees that people don't play around these days, out of towner Rachel Balson who says she has been here for the past two weeks and is not enjoying the weather.

"I think its crazy anyways people are so desperate to go shopping at Christmas time that nothing will stop them."

Management at the outlet mall has not responded about their winter preparations, we have no reports of injuries at this time.
